Task force to study how Michigan picks appellate court judges

Various sources report that organizers met today at the Wayne State University Law School to announce a judicial selection task force that will explore the state's method of picking appellate court judges and publish recommendations to improve on it late next year. Justin Long, associate professor of law at Wayne State University, is mentioned as a task force member in the Crain's report.
